Mas Ametller is a typical farm-residence in the style of the Empordà plain. It was built in 1764, on the northern edge of the village of Fontclara, a little group of eleven farmhouses and some thirty inhabitants, located between Pals and Peratallada – an idyllic spot at the foot of the Montgrí mountains and right in the heart of the Baix Empordà county.

Mas Ametller sets out to bring its guests a refreshing breath of rural life, albeit with all the comfort, relaxation and peace and quiet that distinguishes this marvellous area of the Empordà.
